Department Advisory Board Meeting of the Machine and Metal Technologies Department at Edremit Vocational School Was Held

The 2026-2 Advisory Board Meeting for the Machine Program of the Department of Machine and Metal Technologies at Edremit Vocational School for the 2026–2027 Academic Year was held online via BAUNMEET on October 15, 2026.

During the meeting, board members were informed about the accreditation application process for the Machine Program. The decisions made in the 2026-1 Advisory Board meeting were reviewed, and advisory boards were updated regarding the 3+1 education model. In this context, it was emphasized that Vocational Training in Business contributes positively to employment, and providing students with workplace training opportunities was discussed. Furthermore, enhancing university-industry cooperation through mutual educational support, joint projects, and R&D activities was addressed. Finally, special emphasis was placed on conducting company visits to strengthen collaboration with industry representatives.
